How to Play

Here's how to control your hero:

T/F/G/H: Move Mario.
- Note: Some hills require more effort to climb, while others might be too steep or slippery to climb at all.
- You can also use these keys to move Mario along a wall after he steps next to it.

Tab:
- Crouch (while standing still).
- Crouch and slide (while running).
- Crawl (when pressed together with a directional key).

X:
- Jump.
- Read signs or talk to characters.

S: Punch or kick.

The castle is full of different rooms and areas to explore. To enter a new area, you can jump into paintings on the walls! Each area has its own unique challenges and secrets to discover.

Bowser has stolen special stars called Power Stars, and it's up to you to find them! The more Power Stars you collect, the more areas of the castle you can unlock. Some doors are locked and need keys to open them, so you'll need to search carefully to find those keys.

There are lots of different items to collect in the game. For instance, the yellow coins can help you recover your strength; if you collect enough of them, you can even earn an extra life! Blue coins are worth even more than yellow coins and red coins are hidden throughout each area. If you find all eight red coins in an area, you'll get a Power Star!

Watch out for enemies! You'll encounter a variety of creatures who can harm Mario. Some might throw things at you, while others might try to jump on you. You can defeat enemies by jumping on them, punching them, or kicking them.

What else you should know

Explore everywhere! The castle is full of hidden secrets, so make sure to check every corner and try jumping into every painting you see.

Talk to other characters. Sometimes, they will give you helpful hints or clues about where to find Power Stars.

Don't give up! Some challenges might be tricky, but if you keep trying, you'll eventually succeed.
