About Theatre Terror Game
Any mystery fan must play the Haunts for the Holidays - Part 1: Theatre Terror game! Shaggy and Scooby were looking forward to a relaxing Christmas celebration in London. Daphne's dad even gave them tickets to a famous play. How nice of him! However, things didn't turn out as planned. Everything started when a special guest arrived at the theatre. We're talking about the Queen of England herself, accompanied by her entourage. Did you notice that she is wearing the Crown Jewels?
Something terrifying happened during the show! A ghost has stolen Queen Elizabeth's crown. Yikes! Without the help of the rest of the Mystery Inc. crew, Shaggy and Scooby are hesitant to take on this daunting task. However, the monarch managed to convince them by promising a Royal Feast.
Naturally, our two protagonists can't refuse a buffet filled with the most delicious foods. However, it will be hard to eat their way to freedom! Give them a helping hand!
How to Play
To move Shaggy and Scooby, all you need to do is use the Up, Down, Left, and Right arrow keys. However, you'll need to free up a square from the grid first by eating the food that covers it. To do this, all you can do is press the Space Bar. Do the same to perform almost any action! Step by step, you'll find your way to the key that opens the door.
Keep a close eye on the Eat-O-Meter at the top of the screen! It fills up as our hungry protagonists consume more food. Remember that once you fill it, you need to wait for it to slowly decrease! Only then you'll be able to move on in the game!
If you want to speed up this process, do your best to find a soda power-up. Empty the bar instantly using this helpful power-up! Besides the soda, you can also discover locks that slow down the ghost behind you and adds time to the counter at the top.
Beware of moving our heroes when they are full! If you happen to step on a cracked tile while they are in this state, they'll fall and need to restart the level. Yikes! Therefore, step around carefully to find the key and use your ingenuity to reach the door safely.
