About Scrabble Game

You'll spend hours playing the Scrabble game! Everyone has played this classic board game at least once. However, now you have the opportunity to play at any time, even if you can't find a worthy opponent among your friends and family. Are you smart enough to beat a computer at a word puzzle? Now you can find out!

Who can earn the most points before the tiles run out? You will need to use your letters to form a word. Next, your opponent will use his tiles and the tiles on the board to spell out words of his own. The 15 by 15 grid will fill up quickly! Each letter is worth several points. Besides, tricks can help you add to your score. Give it a try and see if you can win!

How to Play

If you have ever played this game in real life, you'll notice that the gameplay is identical. In the beginning, each one of the two players receives seven random letters. Take a close look at your tiles and try to form a word!

Have you found a combination that scores a lot of points? Use the mouse to click and drag the letters on the board. Place the first word over the tile marked with a star!

Next, it's your enemy's turn! Keep in mind that the computer can use one of your tiles to form a new word. Besides, it can even add letters to a preexisting one for extra points. For example, 'HOE' can be turned into 'SHOES' by adding just two tiles.

Moreover, you should take into account that you can create multiple words at once. Therefore, read the tiles horizontally and vertically to make sure you have made valid combinations in both directions. You'll earn valuable extra points!

Can't seem to find a word? Don't worry! You can skip your turn by selecting the pass option. Switching out letters can also be a good idea! Click on the tiles you want to switch after clicking the appropriate option from the menu at the bottom of the screen.

However, keep in mind that these two moves will make you lose the chance to score valuable points. Use them wisely!

There's more you should know!

Have you noticed all the marked positions on the 15 by 15 grid? You shouldn't ignore them! They are vital if you want to reach a high score and beat the computer. Therefore, you should place tiles on them as often as you can.

DW and TW will double or triple the value of a word, while DL and TL will double or triple the points of a letter tile. How helpful!

Have you managed to beat the computer? If the game seems too easy or too hard, adjust the level. You can do so from the menu on the right side of the screen. Choose one of the five levels of difficulty! However, you must know that even the easiest one can be quite challenging. Can you keep up?

The best part about virtual Scrabble is that you don't need to spend a lot of time adding up the score for every word. The score shows up automatically for every stage of the game in the menu on the right side.
