How to Play

Use your mouse to click on things and move them around. You'll click to grab ingredients, pour, mix, bake, and decorate the gingerbread house with candy!

First, let's gather all our ingredients. We'll need:

For the gingerbread:
- 6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 teaspoons ground ginger
- 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 12 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup dark molasses
- 1 tablespoon water

For the decorations:
- Royal icing (this is a special icing that hardens when it dries)
- Colorful gumdrops
- Mini colorful candies
- Candy canes
- Peppermint candies
- Colorful gummy rings
- Spearmint gummy leaves
- A gingerbread man cookie
- A candy Christmas tree

Now, let's start building!

1. In a big bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.

2. In another bowl, mix the butter and brown sugar until it's light and fluffy.

3. Add the eggs, molasses, and water to the butter mixture and mix it well.

4. Add half of the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until it's smooth.

5. Add the rest of the flour and mix it until it forms a dough.

6. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for at least two hours.

7. Turn the oven on to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

8. Put some parchment paper on a baking tray.

9. Take the dough out of the fridge and cut it in half.

10. Flatten one half of the dough with a rolling pin.

11. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes for the walls and roof of the house.

12. Flatten the other half of the dough and cut out shapes for the roof and chimney.

13. Put all the shapes on the baking tray.

14. Put the tray in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.

15. Take the cookies out of the oven and let them cool.

16. Put some royal icing on a cardboard base to make a snowy landscape.

17. Use royal icing to "glue" the walls of the house together.

18. Use royal icing to "glue" the roof pieces on top of the walls.

19. Build the chimney with the small rectangle and triangles.

20. Let the house stand for at least 3 hours so the icing can dry.

21. Decorate the roof with royal icing, mini candies, and peppermint candies.

22. Decorate the walls with royal icing, gumdrops, and mini candies to make windows and a door.

23. Decorate the landscape with gummy leaves, gummy rings, a gingerbread man, and a candy Christmas tree.
