Your favorite TV channel has finally released an online card game, and it's packed with all of your favorite characters in the Nickelodeon: Power Packed game! You can personalize your deck with characters from all of your favorite shows: SpongeBob SquarePants, Breadwinners, Sanjay & Craig, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Harvey Beaks, Avatar the Last Airbender, Legend of Korra and many other cartoons.
You can win each game by playing your strongest cards against your opponent and special attacks to rule out his perks and advantages. Don't forget to have fun meeting your favorite cartoons on the way! What do you say? Do you think you've got what it takes to win this quest of logic and friendship?
Before you choose your playing mode, make sure to hit the Sign in button on the left side of the page to save your progress. Now, there are three options you can choose: Story Mode, Freeplay Mode, and a section dedicated to your deck of cards. Let's get better acquainted with the last one, shall we?
Once you click on My deck, you will see that you have a Main Hero card, up to 20 Power Up cards (also known as Attack cards), and 10 Prank cards. In the middle, you can see other available cards or cards that you've unlocked during gameplay. You can click on a card in your deck to eliminate it and then pick up a card of your choosing from the middle section.
Each Hero comes with a specific number of bonus points. The Attack cards are the ones that you put down on the table against your enemy. The Prank cards are cards that you can play to diminish one of your enemy's card points or increase one of your own.
Now that you know the basics, it's time to enter the arena! It's better to start with the Easy/Tutorial in the Story mode until you're familiarised with the battle. You can then go on other adventures in Story mode, of medium or hard difficulties.
Each game has three rounds. Your opponent will place his cards, face down, at the top row of the screen. The main idea is to have a higher score than your opponent on each card.
You can now choose from your pack what Attack cards to play. The computer will randomly pick up four cards from your deck, and you will have to put down three. Click and drag the best, highest scored cards you have and place them in the highlighted areas.
Now, you will be able to see your opponent's cards. Should one of his cards be stronger than yours, don't worry; not all is lost! You can now play your prank card. Power Up will make one of your cards stronger with the specified number of points. Power Up ALL will make all of your cards stronger. The same goes for Power Down cards, but it will drain points from your enemy.
Special abilities take three turns to charge. You can use them to withdraw Health from your enemy or add Health to your own character. You can activate them by clicking on the locker icon on the right side of the page.
Now, we wait and see the outcome of the round. Each of the three pairs will be analyzed. The highest scored card wins the battle, and its number of points will be subtracted from the loser's Total Points. At the end of the three rounds, the player with the biggest score wins the match.
A pair formed from two identical (in score) cards is neutral, and none of the players will be affected. Should you have more than one duplicate on the table, you should use the power up to improve the highest one. That way, the bigger score of the winning card will be drawn from the enemy's Total Points.
Depending on how many rounds you won during a match, you will get a star and a reward at the end: new, more powerful cards; therefore, you can finish a match with up to three stars and three cards.
Winning will also get you experience points, with some surprise cards once you level up. In those cases, you can choose to keep on playing or go to the My Deck section, update your cards and then return to the game.
The more you play, the better the cards. So keep on playing to improve your deck and master the game! Don't forget to look for the Daily Challenge as well, which enables you to discover new and unique cards!
