About Just Words Game

Don't miss out on the Just Words game if you are a fan of the famous board game Scrabble! The digital version of the classic is even more fun than the original. To begin with, you won't have to spread tiles all over your dining room table. Besides, you can say goodbye to adding up points after each move. The game does that for you! Are you ready to give it a try?

Can't find a suitable opponent? Don't worry! The game allows you to pick between three gaming modes: solo, against the computer, or another person. Moreover, there are three difficulty modes if you choose to challenge the AI: Easy, Medium, or Hard. Which one suits your abilities best?

How to Play

Let's start forming words! Each player receives six tiles at the beginning of the game. Can you spell out a word using two or more of them? If you manage to use all six letters, you will receive extra points. Bingo! You can use your mouse to click and place the tiles in the assembly area. Alternatively, you can also type out the word on your keyboard, then drag it on the playing surface. Isn't that neat?

Have you noticed that each of the tiles is worth a different amount of points? The game will automatically add them up when you place them on the board, revealing your score for each turn. However, you should make sure that the word is correct before playing your turn. How to do that? Spell it out on the assembly board! It will turn yellow if it exists in the dictionary. 

Playing smart is extremely important! For example, you should take advantage of all the tiles already placed on the playing surface. Can you add one or two letters to form a new word? Remember that you can score extra points by forming multiple words at once, both vertically and horizontally! 

What else you should know

What are all the colored dots on the screen? You'll soon find that they are helpful if you want to reach the high score list. Depending on the color and number of dots, they can double or triple your points. Red squares will multiply the score of the whole word, while the blue ones will increase the worth of a single letter. Isn't that cool?

Are you stuck? Don't worry! Start by shuffling your tiles. It might help you discover an overlooked word or combination!

If you still have no clue, you can exchange some of your tiles. All you need to do is click on the unwanted letters, then press the appropriate button from the menu below the assembly zone.

Finally, you can completely pass on your turn. However, remember that the game ends if both players give up their turn one after the other.

Have you managed to score more points than the computer? Don't be discouraged if you can't achieve this on your first try! With enough practice, you'll learn new words and strategies. Who knows? Maybe one day you'll become a master!
