Can you keep up with the villains in the Gotham City Speed game? You'll get to play the role of one of the most famous superheroes in the world, the Dark Knight. Batman is just as cool in the LEGO Universe, and his Batcar also looks awesome. Now you have the chance to drive it on a special mission!

The game consists of a very long run through the city. But what happened? During a quiet night, an explosion announces that something disturbing has happened. All the villains have escaped from Arkham Asylum! Yikes! Give Bruce Wayne a hand and chase the baddies through town! Can you catch them all?

How to Play

One would imagine that Batman's famous vehicle is complex and very hard to drive. Luckily, the Batmobile drives itself! All you need to do is press the Left and Right Arrow keys to move between the three lanes. Even if it sounds like an easy mission, it'll be a challenging test of your agility.

Another exciting thing about this iconic vehicle is that it can travel through any medium. Therefore, you'll get to fly and drive! Either way, you'll have to look out for obstacles in the road and avoid them as much as you can.

Enemies are even worse, as they can shoot at you and take away your precious lives. Check how many you have left by glancing at the top left corner of the screen. Your foe's energy is on the opposite side.

This game is even more thrilling because you can make your ride cooler by collecting studs and bonus blocks. The latter will grant the Batmobile new features, such as the ability to shoot automatically. It'll be much easier to take out enemies this way!

You can also earn more energy and studs by collecting the correct amount of bonus blocks. How exciting!

There's more you should know!

Are you ready to go shopping? At the end of each round, you'll get to visit the store and make your Batmobile even more technologically advanced. Use the studs you have gathered so far to make your health bar bigger, increase the value of each stud, or make the extras even more powerful. Therefore, if you manage to gather enough, you'll attract coins for longer or get a better weapon. 

Don't invest without a strategy! If you want to reach the end of the race and defeat all the villains, it's good to invest in weapon improvements first. Increasing the value of a single stud will help you get further a lot faster! 

Stop hesitating and start driving! You can only find out how far you can go by practicing a lot. In time you'll get used to the speed and gameplay and become indispensable for Batman. This interpretation of a DC Comics classic will surely keep you glued to the screen for hours!
