Your role is to guide the dragon hero, who fell from the sky, on a quest to close a dangerous portal opened by the Dargons, a menacing dragon race. This mission is packed with adventures and challenges, and it's up to you to gather allies and make smart decisions to succeed. The game combines strategy and action, offering a different experience from the original Crystal Story.

How to Play

There are multiple options you can use to control your character. Besides using your mouse and clicking where you want to go, you can now also use the Arrow or WASD keys on your keyboard. This makes moving around simple and fun!

As you travel through the land of Crystalia, you'll find a map to help you explore. The map shows the entire continent, and a minimap lets you see where you are. You'll find treasure chests with useful items and run into enemies. You can choose to fight or avoid these enemies.

Battle Mechanics
Battles are turn-based. You'll see a list of actions: Attack, Skill, Item, and Skip/Charge. Attack hits an enemy, Skill lets you use a special move, Item lets you use something from your inventory, and Skip/Charge lets you wait for a better chance to act. There's a turn indicator showing who will act next in battle.

Skills and Classes
You earn Skill Points (SP) by defeating monsters and doing side quests. Spend these points to unlock new abilities and make your character stronger. There are different classes like Slayer, Thief, Guardian, Mage, Trickster, and Healer, each with unique skills.

Status Effects and Stats
Watch out for status effects like Poison or Sleep that can hurt or stop your character in battle. Your character has different stats like HP (health), MP (magic points), ATK (attack strength), and more. These stats help you understand how strong your character is.

Inventory and Upgrading  
In your inventory, you'll keep items you find. You can also see a list of monsters you've defeated (Bestiary). Use the SP menu to learn new skills and the Equip menu to wear stronger weapons and armor. 

Interactions in Towns
Visit towns to use the Shop to buy and sell items or upgrade equipment. You can also find jobs, talk to people in the Tavern, or rest at an Inn to restore health and magic.

What's New in Crystal Store 2

Crystal Story 2 is different because it doesn't use experience points for leveling up. Instead, you get stronger by finding items and using SP. The game

This is more like a traditional RPG with a world map and different locations to visit. In towns, you interact through menus for shopping, talking, and more. Sidequests offer extra rewards, and you can use Alchemy to combine items into new ones.

Upgrading Equipment
Upgrade your equipment with scrap metal or items from Alchemy. This makes your weapons and armor stronger and helps you in battles. Remember, good equipment can be the key to winning tough fights.

Character Interaction and Dialogue
One of the new features in this sequel is more interaction and dialogue with characters. This adds depth to the story and makes your journey more engaging. You'll learn more about the world and your companions through these conversations.

Skill Paths and Class Upgrades
Each character has their own skill path. By spending SP, you unlock new abilities and increase stats. Completing a path lets you choose a new class with even more skills and upgrades. This allows you to customize your characters to suit your play style.
