About Backyard Baseball Game
Batter up! It's time to play ball with Backyard Baseball! This game, originally released for the Game Boy Advance, lets you create your own team of kid baseball players and compete against other teams in a fun and exciting tournament. You can even choose to play with some of your favorite Major League Baseball players but as kids!
You get to be the coach and the player! Choose your team, pick your field, and lead your players to victory. It's like having your own little league team but with even more fun!
How to Play
Ready to hit a home run? Here's how to control your player:
- Arrow Keys: Move your players around the field, choose your pitches, and decide where to hit the ball.
- Z: This is for action! Use it to pitch the ball, throw the ball to another player, and run around the bases.
- X: Go back to a previous menu or choose a different player in the field.
- E: Make a diving catch in the field or try to steal a base when you're batting.
- Enter: Start / Pause /Resume the game.
When you're pitching, you can choose different types of pitches to throw, like fastballs, curveballs, and sliders. Try to trick the batter and strike them out!
When you're fielding, you get to control the player closest to the ball. Try to catch it or pick it up and throw it to the right base or to the pitcher. You can even dive to catch those tricky fly balls!
When you're batting, you can choose how you want to swing the bat. Try to hit the ball as far as you can and score a home run!
When you're running the bases, you get to decide when to run to the next base. Be careful not to get tagged out! You can even slide into base to avoid getting caught.

- Quick Play: Jump right into a game with a team that's already picked for you.
- Home Run Derby: See how many home runs you can hit! You can play against the computer or a friend.
