The 4096 game is going to keep you glued to the keyboard for hours. Did you know that the simplest ideas can turn into very complicated games? This puzzle proves just that! 

You may already be familiar with the idea from a similar quite popular game called 2048. The rules are so simple that you'll start playing in no time. Besides, the gameplay is so addictive that you'll spend hours trying to achieve the goal! Can you reach the magical number of 4096? All you need to do is add up the cards that look the same!

How to Play

The rules are straightforward. Take a close look at the board, which is a 4-by-4 grid! In the beginning, there will only two cards on the board, each one of them worth two points. Are you ready to start adding?

All you need to do is use your mouse to click on one of the four sides of the rectangular board. Alternatively, you can also press one of the four Arrow Keys. This will make all the items on the board slide in the respective direction. All of the cards of the same type will add up, thus clearing up the board. For instance, two 2 point cards will add up to create a 4 point card, two 4 point cards will form an 8 point card, and so on.
 
Beware! A new 2 point card will appear every time you make a move. In the beginning, this will be helpful, as it allows you to perform new combinations. However, as you progress, you will find that a crowded board is your worst enemy in this game. Did you know that the game is over when you have 16 tiles on your board and can't make any more moves?

How close can you get to the number 4096? The task can seem daunting at first, but if you keep practicing, you'll surely figure out some new strategies. Have you noticed that the game keeps track of your highest score? Even if you don't manage to win, you'll surely spend hours trying!
